teaching staff information members of the teaching staff are, technically, an official staff position. members with bad records will be denied the privileges of playing a faculty member, as teachers will have the ability to moderate the boards in which their department holds.
if you are found abusing these powers, you will lose them, and receive a warning. these can be lost for the entire teaching team entirely, so please, treat them well. also, do not mess around in boards you are not told to mess with. a list of boards you may moderate, depending on your class and your position in your department, will be posted in the teacher's lounge.

site rules i. please keep the site a happy and fun place for everyone. meaning, don't bully others, blackmail, flame, harass, or anything. these are bannable offenses, and most likely staff will not let you attempt to reason your way out of a punishment for this.
ii. swearing is allowed, because let's face it, most high school students are going to swear anyways, so why not let our characters do it? though, no racial slurs, or extremely homophobic or transphobic comments will be allowed at all oocly, and if they're overly extreme in character, you will be banned. characters may say things like "wow, that's gay." or light things like that, but if they go too far, posts will be deleted and you will receive a warning.
iii. respect the staff. i can't stand it when members go and step all over the hard work the staff has done to bring a site to you, and i certainly will no tolerate it on this site. you're allowed to make suggestions and all that, i love to hear suggestions, but please don't directly bash on the site, as it's rude and we don't appreciate it after all the time we've put into making this place what it is.
iv. sexual content is not allowed, as it's against the pro boards rules, and they're our host. you can go as far as actually roleplaying out sexual scenes, that is where we draw the line. you can feel free to fade out, though we don't want to see it on the site, as we can get reported for it, and the site will be taken down. basically, try to keep it appropriate, we're not a porn site.
v. we have no character limit, but we do ask that you do your best to keep each of them active. if an account isn't touched for an entire week, it will be warned, and if nothing happens in the next week, it will be deleted. if a prior warning is posted, this rule will not apply.
vi. each character must have it's own account. you can use the sub account method, or you can create a separate account for each individual character. member accounts are allowed, but may not be role-played on. we do not limit to just staff accounts. |
